It all started at a dump. Jair Castillo saw children getting their food from the rubbish at a dump in Piedras Negras, Mexico. Jair’s heart was touched, and he began to help them and give them hope.

He started feeding them, housing them, schooling them, and eventually CRF joined him to sponsor these kids. Decades have gone by and the school in Piedras Negras has grown from next to nothing to one of the best educational centers in this area of Mexico.

But Jair had one dream that was not fulfilled. His school stopped with middle school. He dreamed that one day he would have a high school.

This week the high school was approved. Partnering with CRF, a beautiful high school has been constructed. It will house its first students next term. Dreams do come true.
